History:
In 1941, at the request of the faculty, President Fred Engelhardt organized six committees and charged them with the responsibility of formulating a "New Hampshire Charter" which would describe the roles of the faculty beyond the rules and regulations covered in the Faculty Handbook.
Scope and Content:
This series contains the files of the six committees and two versions of the Report of the Committees on Objectives, Faculty Responsibilities, and Teacher Student Relationships. The original report is loose, typed pages and the revised copy is bound, mimeographed pages.
