History:
The first Freshman Camp was held in 1932. The idea of Freshman Camp is to provide incoming students personal contact with upper-division students as well as other members of the incoming class in order to help freshmen make the transition from home and high school to university life.
Scope and content:
This series contains files from the secretary of Freshman Camp in 1955-58. It also contains correspondence and programs from other years. (See also Archives 378 I, Handbook for Freshman Camp.)
