History:
Sigma Beta local fraternity was founded in 1921 at the New Hampshire College of Agriculture and the Mechanic Arts. This fraternity was one of the charter members of Theta Upsilon Omega national fraternity in 1924. Meanwhile, the College became the University of New Hampshire in 1923. After twelve years, in 1936, as part of a national fraternity, they turned in their charter and went back to being a local fraternity using the original name of Sigma Beta.

This series contains files from the Greek Advisor's Office pertaining to the history and activities of the Sigma Beta fraternity at the University of New Hampshire.
