"We're at the cusp of an energy revolution. It will be as profound as the one that ushered in the age of oil a century ago." (Christopher Flavin, Worldwatch Institute)

As part of the UNH Discovery Program's Dialogue on Energy, "UNH unplugged" is timed to contribute to the global talk about the health of our planet. Most agree that the greenhouse gases resulting from a century of burning fossil fuels has contributed to global warming, but the question is: what can WE do about it? The UNH campus is teaming with incentives, programs and research as part of an international effort to reverse global warming. And while UNH is not unplugged from the power grid, as the title may imply, the exhibit offers a history of local energy use and highlights the many ways this institution is keeping its dorms warm while taking action to keep the planet cool.
